Getting Started
- Import a recipe: Tap the + button on the home screen. Paste a URL, take a photo of a cookbook page, or ask Cozina AI to create a recipe for you.
- Start a cooking session: Open a recipe and tap "Cook." Add multiple recipes to orchestrate a full meal with perfectly timed steps.
- Use voice control: During a cooking session, say your trigger words hands-free. Customize them in Settings → Voice Commands.
- Try Cozina AI: During cooking, tap the chat bubble to ask your AI sous chef anything — substitutions, techniques, or timing adjustments.
Common Questions
Why won't my recipe import?
Recipe import works best with standard recipe websites. If a site uses unusual formatting, try taking a photo of the recipe instead. You can also paste the recipe text directly into the AI chat.
How does multi-dish timing work?
Cozina's orchestration engine analyzes prep times, cook times, and passive wait periods across all your recipes. It builds a unified timeline so everything finishes at the same time. Just add your recipes to a session and tap "Start."
Can I use Cozina offline?
Recipes you've already imported are available offline. Cooking sessions, timers, and voice control all work without an internet connection. AI features (import, chat, remix) require a connection.
What are focus mode and step breakdown?
Focus mode shows only your current step in a clean, distraction-free view. Step breakdown splits complex instructions into smaller micro-tasks. Both are designed to reduce overwhelm, especially for neurodivergent cooks.
Subscription & Billing
What's included in Pro?
Pro unlocks unlimited AI recipe imports, unlimited multi-dish cooking sessions, the Cozina AI assistant, Recipe Remix, AI meal planner, and unlimited AI thumbnails.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Your subscription is managed through the App Store. To change or cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions
- Select Cozina and choose your option
You can also manage subscriptions from within Cozina under Profile → Subscription.
I was charged but don't have Pro access
Try restoring your purchases: open Cozina → Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, email us at support@cozina.ai with your Apple ID email and we'll sort it out.
Account & Privacy
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data, including recipes, preferences, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → Privacy → Export Data. You'll receive a JSON file containing all your recipes and account data.
What data does Cozina collect?
We collect only what's needed to run the app: your account info, recipes, and subscription status. We do not sell your data or track you across other apps.
